TRUCKS Race 13 of 25
DQS Solutions & Staffing 200 powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics at Michigan
2020 Last-Place Finisher: Stewart Friesen
ENTRY LIST
There are 32 drivers entered for 36 spots, the 12th straight short field in 2025, so all will qualify.
DRIVER CHANGE: #1-TRICON Garage
Lawless Alan returns to the Truck Series for the first time since his ARCA victory in Talladega for just his second start of the season, his first since a 10th-place showing in this same TRICON entry at Martinsville. Alan takes the place of William Sawalich, who finished 24th last time out in Nashville.
DRIVER CHANGE: #2-Reaume Brothers Racing
Morgen Baird returns for his first Truck Series start since Kansas, where he finished 25th in the Reaume #22 for what was his series debut. This time, Baird moves to Reaume’s #2 entry, taking the place of 27th-place Nashville finisher Clayton Green.
RETURNING: #6-Norm Benning Racing
Norm Benning has made 12 career Truck Series starts at Michigan, including the most recent race in 2020, where he came home in 31st, just one lap down. His best finish remains his first back in 2009, when he took home 17th. Prior to that, he made 18 ARA starts at the track with a best of 15th in 2000. Benning returns for his first Truck start since North Wilkesboro, where he scored his second last-place finish in as many starts.
DRIVER CHANGE: #7-Spire Motorsports
As he continues to inch closer to a first Cup Series win, Carson Hocevar will pull double-duty at his home track, back for his third series start of the year and first since his win in Kansas with this same Spire Motorsports effort. Delaware Life is again the sponsor as Hocevar takes the place of Corey Day, fresh off a career-best 5th in Nashville.
DRIVER CHANGE: #22-Reaume Brothers Racing
Josh Reaume makes his 80th series start this Saturday, returning to the driver’s seat for the first time since his 18th-place finish in Texas. Interestingly, Reaume finished 18th in three of his four Truck Series starts this year. This time, he takes the place of 29th-place Nashville finisher Tyler Tomassi.
DRIVER CHANGE: #44-Niece Motorsports
Coca-Cola 600 winner Ross Chastain makes his 115th career Truck Series start and first since runner-up finish at the same Charlotte track, taking the place of 9th-place Nashville finisher Bayley Currey. With team sponsor DQS sponsoring this race, the three Al Niece entries will run similar paint schemes.
MISSING: #63-Akinori Performance
Akinori Ogata is not among this week’s entrants after crash damage in Nashville left him next-to-last, but still under power, six laps down to the leaders.
DRIVER CHANGE: #07-Spire Motorsports
While the preliminary entry list showed “TBA” in the driver’s column for the Spire #07, it was then announced that Corey LaJoie will kick off a nine-race deal on Saturday, one that will include both the upcoming Talladega race and the championship event in Phoenix. LaJoie takes the place of Kyle Busch, who finished 15th in Nashville.
CUP INVADERS: #7-Carson Hocevar, #44-Ross Chastain

CUP Race 15 of 36
FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan
2024 Last-Place Finisher: Todd Gilliland
ENTRY LIST
While this week marks the 13th short field in 15 races this season, it’s also only the second time in 2025 that only the 36 Chartered entries fill the garage – the first time since Las Vegas in March.
MISSING: #44-NY Racing Team
MISSING: #66-Garage 66
MISSING: #67-23XI Racing
The three “open” entries not making the trip this week all finished 34th or worse last Sunday in Nashville, led by 34th-place J.J. Yeley in the NY Racing Team entry which missed the start of the race due to an electrical issue. Yeley managed to finish under power, three laps down, one spot ahead of Chad Finchum in Carl Long’s #66, and three ahead of Corey Heim, wrecked out after a tangle with Brad Keselowski while driving 23XI’s part-time #67.
