TRUCKS Race 21 of 25

Round of 10: Race 3 of 3

Team EJP 175 at Loudon

2017 Last-Place Finisher: Ray Ciccarelli

ENTRY LIST

Following the withdrawal of the second CR7 Motorsports entry, there are exactly 36 drivers entered for as many spots in the first Truck Series race at New Hampshire in eight years.

DRIVER CHANGE: #2-Reaume Brothers Racing

Stephen Mallozzi makes his seventh start of 2025 and first since Darlington, where he finished 34th. He takes the place of Clayton Green, who isn’t entered this week and will thus not be eligible to score a fourth consecutive last-place finish. Mallozzi may also have a short afternoon on Saturday as he’s pulled off the track in the first 41 laps in his previous six starts this year.

DRIVER CHANGE: #7-Spire Motorsports

Patrick Emerling pulls double-duty with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (driving the #1) and only his fifth career Truck Series start, taking the place of 11th-place Bristol finisher Corey Day in the Spire #7 entry. Sci Aps, a prolific sponsor of Ryan Sieg in the XFINITY Series, will back Emerling’s effort. Emerling made his Truck Series debut at this same Loudon track in 2017, the last time the series competed here. Driving for D.J. Copp, he finished 23rd after late-race engine trouble.

RETURNING: #16-McAnally Hilgemann Racing

Fresh off two strong runs in XFINITY at Gateway and Bristol, Christian Eckes continues his part-time effort in the extra McAnally entry, his first since a 12th-place reunion back at Richmond. NAPA Nightvision is the sponsor this week.

DRIVER CHANGE: #20-Young’s Motorsports

Mason Massey has a knack for the “Magic Mile.” In the XFINITY Series, two of his three career top-ten finishes came at the track - a 9th for DGM Racing in 2022 followed by a 10th for SS-Green Light Racing in 2023. This marks his first race at the track in a Truck Series entry. He’ll take the place of Stefan Parsons, who finished 25th last Thursday in Bristol.

DRIVER CHANGE: #22-Reaume Brothers Racing

The second Reaume entry goes to Blake Lothian, marking his first Truck Series start since April 5, 2024 at Martinsville, where he finished 34th for Young’s Motorsports. Lothian previously drove for Reaume in the first two of his three series starts in 2022, taking 28th in his debut at Martinsville, then 35th at IRP. He’s since competed in the ARCA Menards Series West for the Johnathan Reaume (brother of Josh, who finished 22nd in this truck at Bristol), taking 10th out of 14 starters in the most recent race at Roseville’s All-American Speedway. Eastern Bank is the listed sponsor.

DRIVER CHANGE: #33-Reaume Brothers Racing

As Frankie Muniz continues to heal his injured wrist, Tyler Tomassi drives the team’s flagship #33, sponsored this week by Tomassi Law LLC. Tomassi takes the place of fellow stand-in driver Mason Maggio, who finished 31st last time out in Bristol. This will mark Tomassi’s first Truck Series start since Pocono, where he ran 24th, and his first for the Reaume team since Nashville, where he ran 29th in the team’s #22.

MISSING: #35-Van Alst Motorsports

Not among this week’s entrants is Greg Van Alst, whose new team made just its second start last time out at Bristol, yielding a 29th-place finish.

DRIVER CHANGE: #62-Halmar Friesen Racing

The Halmar team keeps its part-time #62 team in the field this week following Cole Butcher’s 23rd-place finish in Bristol. This week, joining Patrick Emerling among the double-duty competitors in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event is 26-year-old Connecticut native Michael Christopher, Jr. The son of series veteran Michael Christopher and nephew of the late great Ted Christopher, Michael Jr. will make his series debut with sponsorship from USNE Power after campaigning the #113 in the Modified Tour event.

RETURNING: #69-Motorsports Business Management

Derek White returns for his third series start of 2025, his first since a 19th-place showing at Watkins Glen – site of the most recent Truck Series start for the MBM effort. White, who made lone Cup start at this same track in 2015, will be making his first Truck Series start at Loudon.

MISSING: #75-Henderson Motorsports

Not among this week’s entrants is the Henderson effort with which Parker Kligerman took a 14th-place finish in Bristol.

MISSING: #95-GK Racing

Clay Greenfield will likewise not attempt this week’s race after issues on his qualifying lap sent him home early in Bristol.

WITHDREW: #97-CR7 Motorsports

With the XFINITY Series off this week, Carson Kvapil had been entered in second CR7 entry with Grant County Mulch as sponsor, following up a 15th-place finish for the team at Richmond. But the team had withdrawn at first publication of the entry list.

DRIVER CHANGE: #02-Young’s Motorsports

Saturday marks the fourth series start for Jayson Alexander, his first since a 30th-place finish at IRP with sponsorship from Constant Contact. Alexander takes the place of Trayten Lapcevich, who finished 32nd in his series debut with the team after both hub and power steering issues in Bristol.

CUP Race 30 of 36

Round of 12: Race 1 of 3

Mobil 1 301 at Loudon

2024 Last-Place Finisher: Alex Bowman

ENTRY LIST

There are 36 drivers entered for 40 spots, so all will qualify for the 25th short field in 30 races this season.

MISSING: #33-Richard Childress Racing

None of the three part-time “open” teams are making the trip north this weekend. This includes Austin Hill, who is not entered during this off-weekend for the NASCAR XFINITY Series following a 25th-place finish last week in Bristol.

MISSING: #66-Garage 66

Carl Long will only bring his Truck Series effort to the track for Derek White, and will not field his #66 Cup car with which Chad Finchum finished 35th after a late-race rocker box fire.

MISSING: #67-23XI Racing

Corey Heim will focus exclusively on tomorrow’s elimination race for the Truck Series and will not compete on Sunday, just over a week after an impressive 6th-place showing in Bristol.

TODAY IN LASTCAR HISTORY (September 19, 1982): Rick Newsom picked up the 8th last-place finish of his NASCAR Winston Cup career in the CRC Chemicals 500 at Dover when his #20 Bojangles’ Chevrolet fell out with handling issues after 13 laps. As of this writing, this remains the only time the #20 finished last in a Cup race at Dover.
